Insurance & Fees
Making Therapy Feel Clear From the Start
Understanding the cost of therapy shouldn’t feel confusing. I want you to have clear information about insurance, fees, and payment before beginning so you can make the decision that feels right for you.
I accept several insurance plans and also offer private-pay options. Coverage varies by plan, so I encourage you to confirm your individual mental health benefits with your insurance company.
Insurance Plans Accepted
I am currently in-network with several insurance plans for individual therapy:
Blue Cross Blue Shield
Harvard Pilgrim Health Care
Wellsense
Aetna
Optum /United Healthcare
Please note: Insurance coverage varies by individual plan. Being in-network does not guarantee that every service is fully covered. Your deductible, copay, coinsurance, and other benefits may affect what you plan for therapy.
I recommend contacting your insurance company before your first appointment to confirm your outpatient mental health benefits.
Fees & Payment
Intake Appointment (first session)
$225
Individual Therapy Session
$185 per session
Payment is due at the time of the service unless other arrangements have been made. If you are using insurance, you are responsible for any applicable copay, coinsurance, deductible, or services not covered by your plan.
$75 fee for no shows or cancellations within 24-hours of the appointment
If I am out-of-network with your insurance, I can provide a superbill that you may submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement if your plan includes out-of-network benefits.
Still Have Questions About Cost or Coverage?
Insurance can be confusing, and it’s completely reasonable to have questions before getting started. During a free 15-minute consultation, we can talk about whether I may be a good fit for what you’re looking for and discuss the next steps for beginning therapy.
