What is EMDR?
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing is a structured, evidence-based therapy designed to help people process and heal from distressing or traumatic experiences. It uses guided techniques, including bilateral stimulation such as eye movements or tapping, to help the brain reprocess memories so they feel less emotionally overwhelming. EMDR can reduce the intensity of trauma-related symptoms and support clients in developing a more adaptive and balanced perspective on past experiences.
